Dr. Amir Zarrabi has always had an interest in the biological sciences. Upon graduating from the University of Houston with a BS in Biology, he decided to pursue a Masters in Evolutionary Biology, focusing on harvester and fire ants. However, one day he had the realization that he didn’t want to spend the rest of his life working long lonely hours in the lab with ants. He longed for a more stimulating work environment, along with meaningful interactions with people, so he decided enter the more appealing and creative field of dentistry. He graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry in 2008. In his free time, Dr. Zarrabi enjoys playing guitar, cycling, the outdoors, traveling, hiking, camping, reading, and following Formula 1 racing. He’s also known to make a mean deep-dish pizza!
A Houston native, Natalia joined our team at the beginning of 2021. One of her hobbies is doing pencil and paint drawings. She enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, going to parks, and bike riding.
Mika graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene in 2019. Originally from the Philippines, she didn’t know much about dentistry or how important it was to take care of her teeth. Her curiosity about the field led her to pursue this career. Now, she is dedicated to helping others understand the importance of oral health. In fact, she took a solo mission trip to the Philippines to educate kids about oral hygiene! Outside of work, she enjoys playing volleyball, indoor rock climbing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
Nicole has lived in a variety of places due to her mother being in the army, but mostly in Houston. In fact, at one point she wanted to join the military. She always wanted to be in the health field and help people. She’s been assisting for 16 years, and says it’s a pleasure to see her patients satisfied with their smiles. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities, learning new things, and spending time at home and with her kids.
Sam joined Memorial Park Smile Studio in January 2023. She grew up in Crosby. Her hobbies include reading and taking pictures.
